Website of the city of Gent wins award
The city of Gent has won the prize for the best website of 2009 in the category cities and municipalities. In the Handelsbeurs in Gent, the computer magazine Clickx awarded this prize. As many as 76,516 readers released their vote, which counted for 70% of the judgement. A jury took care of the remaining 30% of the final judgement. It is not the first time that the city of Gent won an award. In 2007, 2008 and 2009 Indigov awarded the price for the best governmental website of Flanders and Brussels to the city of Gent.
