Ralph Pans: do not cut back on electronic services
On the 14th and 15th of april Kodision attended at the succesfull Congress Burgerzaken 2010. Visitors of the Kodision booth frequently inquired about the products of Kodision. Especially the e-forms solution TriplEforms® and the casemanagement system KIM® received a lot of attention from the visitors. Besides the information market where visitors could meet various businesses several lectures and parallel sessions were held.
One of the speakers here was Ralph Pans, Chairman of the Executive Board of VNG. In his lecture, he shared his vision on excellent public services. According to Ralph Pans it is not a good time for municipalities to cut back on electronic services for citizens despite the economic crisis. Instead, Pans believes that recent investments provide municipalities many advantages. For instance, the digitization of services leads to a less expensive tailor-made counter occupation. In addition, investments in services help to regain the citizens trust in the government.
Kodision supports the words of Ralph Pans, and also believes that investments will have a positive impact on the public confidence, the quality of services offered and the reduction of administrative charges.
